This past summer I had the wonderful opportunity of attending a wedding for one of my friends. One thing about Indian weddings are the multiple events and of course outfit changes!
Celebrating love and making it into a three day party is the only way to do it ;)
One of the things I love the most about Indian clothing are the vibrant colours, patterns and rich fabrics.
This outfit was borrowed from Auntie B
Beautiful jewelry to complete the look
And no wedding is complete without Mehndi (Henna).
With summer coming to an end I just had to share this. Lots of love to you all :)
The first one is my favourite :) I would love to go to an Indian wedding and experience all the clothing changes!
ReplyDeleteOh wow N! These are beautiful and intricate outfits. Personally I love the short sleeves and colour in the 2nd one. All the beading (embroidery?) at the neckline is gorgeous. Thanks for posting these!
ReplyDeleteLove the first one! Black is my all time fav! The bandhini one is good too! Looking very pretty :)

Check you out! You look so pretty. Those are super pretty clothes too. I wore Indian clothes to a culture show during college and everyone thought I was Indian. This Auntie was like talking to me in Hindi in the food line haha.

Beautiful! Just beautiful! I have never been to an Indian wedding, but I can't wait to! (I'm hoping a certain mili will invite me to her wedding when she has it!)
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the first outfit!
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I'm not a fashion blogger but I thought of you when I wrote my last post! www.edebock.wordpress.com
I too love the Indian clothes and the Henna but the one thing I don't like about the Indian clothing, is the fact that it have no shape. It makes people look like they walk around in tents. Why is that?
ReplyDeleteLove the hand art! I wish all of society would embrace this as a regular accesory.
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit that you wore! I've always wanted to attend an indian wedding!
