The past few weeks have been busy beyond belief. Somewhere between insanity and plain having lost my marbles, I've decided that I can manage three jobs, gym, studying, cooking? and have a semblance of a personal life. Most people tell me to cut back, but my problem is I ENJOY having things that keep me occupied and busy. I am a bit tired, but I feel that having this drive keeps me in balance. Personally, I prefer to do SOMETHING rather than plant my butt in front of the sofa most evenings. Granted, I do enjoy curling up to a great movie now and then, but ask me about what's going on in the world of television and I really don't have a clue.
And I have to be honest. In recent days, MOST mornings I scramble to get ready and be at work on time. So my outfits stray towards the simple, classic and my favourite NO-FAILS.
Personally I find a great button up shirt can be dressed up or down in so many ways. I decided to pair my burnt orange coloured shirt with a classic black skirt. My twist - a funky pair of rust coloured boots to change the outfit and its look.

I work a 40 hour job, plus I'm studying full time. I'm lucky I enjoy my study because otherwise I'd find it very hard to come home after a long day and get into the books! I'm also at the gym twice a day at the moment so I don't have a spare second of free time. I make sure one night a week I don't do anything except relax with my husband. I feel bad because I'm so busy all the time :S

ReplyDeleteWell look at you, busy busy bee! I used to have 2 jobs and liked it cause I didnt really have a lot going on in my personal life. I love being busy! Hope to get back to a normal schedule soon. Only you know what is normal for you and what feels right, so do your thang! You think P. Diddy sleeps at night? Come on, give me a break! Oprah take a nap? Forget it!

ReplyDeleteA few years back I didn't own any button down shirts...I thought they were too preppy for me, and not easy to style...boy I was wrong! Now I think button downs are the easiest to throw on and instantly look chic!

Even without having an eighth of the things you have on your plate on mine, I still find myself struggling to get to work on time in the morning! The classic button down is my go-to, although I usually go for white. I love the orange shade of yours, it's classic but still very different!
