Pursuit of Happiness


I think for the most part many of us are on the pursuit of happiness. Now I’m not talking about the movie, or unattainable bliss or a utopia of sorts, but genuine happiness within and of oneself, without relying on something or someone else for that acknowledgment.  

Like many people, I have had moments where I have faltered, made countless mistakes and poor choices, but at the end of the day, I know I am where I am supposed to be and happy with who I am as woman, a friend, daughter, sister, human being. I can say I am on the right path to my pursuit of happiness : )
 
 
 
 
 

PS these shoes may look cute, but let me tell you they are PAINFUL! (Anyone in need for a size 7.5 oxfords?;))

    Maybe it's my imagination, but your expression seems more relaxed in these photos. Maybe it's the gorgeous shoes? I really like the bat-wing sleeves on this sweater dress. The colour suits you so well.

    Sometimes, you have to force yourself to be happy, and, in that process, you actually become happy.  It is weird how that works.

    Loving the hot chocolate color of the dress and shoes! I've settled on trying to be content. I don't knot if  human beings are ever completely happy since I believe happiness is fleating. But contenment stays so I'll settle for being content! :)

    Well you look like you are on the right track friend. I love getting older and looking back at all the stupid stuff I did. It makes me feel smarter. And then sometimes I get embarrassed ha.

    i think everyone just wants to be happy, you're right :) I like this neutral coloured outfit, very classic with some unexpected twists like the zippered back or those awesome shoes!!!
