I’m sure we’ve all done the “let’s put a word into Google
and see what comes up in auto recall”. While trying to think up a name
for today’s post, I decided to put in these two words “Marine” and “Mullet” and
the first link on the page was a YouTube video. Curiosity peaked my interest (curiosity
also killed the cat) so I clicked on it....and 30 seconds later I closed it. I’m
still picking my jaw up off the floor and trying ever so hard to get that image
out of my head. To give you a gist of what I saw - it was a Marine (i.e. US
Marine) who had a mullet and was dancing to Back that A$$ up…you guys know the
song….
So while I had a really great story for today’s outfit, this
one trumped anything I was going to say.

Such a pretty dress, Nini - and a hilarious story to go along with it, even if it was unintentional :) You asked me about a pair of pants from Asos last week, and I wanted to be sure you got my answer... My gray jeans ar the first pair of
ReplyDeletepants I've bought from Asos. I wear a North American size zero or 25,
depending on the pair of pants. Since I was ordering the pants online, I
wasn't sure about sizing and went up to a UK 8. If I had it to do over,
I would have gone a size smaller, as the pants fit generously and, of
course, stretch about half a size, like all jeans. As far as the rise is
concerned, I would call this pair a mid-rise. I have had many pairs
that are lower, but these don't reach my belly button :) I generally
don't have too much trouble finding pants, in spite of my athletic legs
and small waist, but shorts are another matter - I have a pair of
American Eagle denim cutoffs that I wear constantly, but even they don't
fit perfectly. I tend to scarifice a properly fitted waist in order to
gain a bit of looseness through the thigh!
xox,
Cee
You are so lucky that's all that came up haha! I'm too scared to play that game. You look gorgeous Nini. You make me want to take off my shoes and play in the sand but temperatures here are scorching!

I love the touches of silver with this outfit! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteTrade your pumps for some cute sandals and you're ready for beachside dining! The silver braided belt was a great touch.
