One of the greatest things about extended family is the time-old
tradition in our household of sharing hand-me-downs, and borrowing pieces. I tend
to feel that I truly benefit from this arrangement more than they do because I
end up being able to shop from many closets while it’s more difficult for my
family to shop from mine, given that I can’t bring my entire wardrobe home with
me to Toronto! Some of the guilt is beginning to creep in! But, not enough to
not wear this gorgeous yellow canary top- borrowed from my sister to be returned
upon request. I loved the detailing on the shoulder and it was a perfect
combination for this houndstooth skirt that has been silently waiting for its
perfect match! There are some pieces you just have to hang on to and then there
are others waiting in someone else's closet.

It threw me for a loop when the date of the post was Sept 13, felt like I had time travelled to the future! :D Woot woot houndtooth! I had a very similar skirt that I wore to death and then swapped with a friend-such a fab pattern! I miss 'borrowing' (aka never returning) clothes from my sis!
ReplyDeleteI'm diggin' that skirt!
