Hit or Mix

I wore this outfit earlier last fall and I have been debating whether or not to post it. It was a trial and error sort of outfit. I decided to mix an Indian piece of clothing (the Kurti shirt) with my normal everyday skirt. I got mix reviews. Some people thought it was a hit to mix the two worlds together. Others thought its best I not wear it again. What are your thoughts? Is it a hit? Or should I never even consider this again….Ever.



What I am Wearing:
Skirt: Jacob (altered to be a high-waisted skirt)
Shirt: Kurti (borrowed) -from Dubai
Sandals: BCBG

    I don't know who would think this is a miss, I think it's funky and elegant and I love how it represents both sides of you! Plus the yellow doors make for a great background (and am really wishing it was still warm enough for bare legs!)

    I agree with Emily, I have no clue who would think this is a miss - it's absolutely fabulous! The pattern on the blouse is so unique and interesting, and it complements the skirt so well! I say it's a complete hit!

    I think they work together nicely. I'm not sure about the rules of Indian clothing, but I just thought it was a pretty shirt so of course I think it's acceptable. Plus that skirt fits you perfectly!
